Doshisha University Carbon Recycle Technical Forum, FY 2022 Symposium

Doshisha University Carbon Recycle Technical Forum will hold FY 2022 Symposium, “ World, Japan and Kansai, Vision to Future with Carbon Recycling” on Thursday, March 16, 2023. In the symposium, comprehensive reforms on energy system, the basic principles and the future of GX League , ammonia synthesis – a parallel technology with carbon recycling -, and direct biomass carbon fuel cell using carbon neutral biomass as fuel are introduced. We will discuss the prospective and vision, the value creation and our future brought by carbon recycling in the world, in Japan and in Kansai where EXPO2025 will be held.

Since 2017, the 20th anniversary of the Kyoto Protocol, Kyoto Prefecture has been developing the “WE DO KYOTO! Project,” under the slogan of “WE DO KYOTO! (We are doing something good for the environment)” to promote eco-actions by prefectural residents.

Faced with various environmental problems such as decarbonization, the efforts and ideas of the younger generation are required.

We are pleased to inform you the recruitment of “WE DO KYOTO! Youth Supporters,” who plan and manage voluntary environmental awareness projects as well as cooperate with environmental awareness projects conducted by Kyoto Prefecture. (Application deadline: May 31st (Tuesday))
